Fear the Assassin, read ALBT Chapter 0037

Assasin Landlord Beauty Tenants

Sorry for the late release. I feel so depressed today. F***ing ‘Anerkennung’ process. For those who are from Germany, you would surely know what I mean. For those who don’t, it’s something like a recognition process.

Before this process is done, I can’t process the next documents. And I can’t move to Germany before everything is done. It would be very uncool if there are missing documents later on and I would then need to go back and forth from Germany to Indonesia. I really want to complain and even sue them for making it so complicated. I’ve sent them all the requirements (which information I got from the Embassy, and it was checked by the Embassy too. And still they demand this and that afterward.). It would be okay if they just tell me in advance all the things that are still missing or needed. But no, first this and then that, with no end at all. And every time, it took like a few weeks before I get the news. If anyone here from Germany are familiar with the law, I really would like to ask a few things regarding that complain/sue matter. Because of this, it has cost me financially and time.

Anyway, I don’t want to bore you all with my problems. So…

Here’s your first regular ALBT chapter of the week.

I feel your pain. I live in Germany and bureaucracy has become an artform. It has some sadvantages but also disadvantages. Regarding the matter with the lawsuit, that will probably not work. You probably won’t have a legal claim under those circumstances and even if you had one the financial costs that would accumulate bringing such a lawsuit would be higher than the money you would be awarded if you won the case.
I’m curious, whats the city you will be moving to?

Hey, since I am also from Germany I can only agree with what hannes mentioned above. Forget about lawsuits. You won’t get anywhere with that. It will result in time and money wasted ( a lot of both of them). It’s a headache that’s not worth the effort. I don’t know why they don’t tell you in advance about the required documents, but they will ask for more documents until they’re satisfied and there is no shortcut and no way around it. Compensation? Dream on^^
Sorry to put it so blunt, but that’s all there is to it…
    Anyway, thanks for translating 🙂
