AUTHOR’S NOTE: Hey guys! First of all, thank you so much for reading The Tales of New Earth 🙂 I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Your thoughts and feedbacks are always welcomed, and they will be very valuable to me 🙂
I see it again.
The scene; it keeps changing.
A volcano erupting.
A snowy mountain.
A dark forest.
An open prairie.
Other panoramas I can only imagine in dreams.
Each of these stands right in front of my eyes, one-by-one, each majestic view changes every few seconds after I catch only a small glimpse of one.
But the vision is always so real;
I can always feel the heat of the boiling lava beneath me, and the hot steam blowing into my eyes.
Then, the feeling of relief as the hot lava changes into snowflakes, with the cool wind blowing at me.
A few seconds later, a total darkness of the forest, before a beam of light shines through and an open field is bestowed upon me.
The ending… is always the same.
A man, standing at the edge of a cliff; but only his back. I have seen his back so many times that I will be able to recognise it anywhere – but never his face.
Afterwards, poof. Everything – gone.
Then, I would open my eyes.
